Ouch....

Okay- so today I had my pre-admission appointment for my upcoming surgery. It was a basic physical, where they weighed me (which by the way was a much higher number than I thought it would be and I already thought the number was high....ouch) took my blood pressure, listened to my heart and breathing and drew some blood. While in my lovely paper gown and laying on the exam table the NP poked my belly button and said, "Oh, you have a hernia." A what?!!! "It must have happened during one of your pregnancies. No one ever mentioned it before?" Ah.....no. I just thought I was getting REALLY fat and my belly button was popping out- seriously.
